The Educators

Bower MGestTherapy, MGANZ, PACFA Reg. Clinical

Rosemary was born in Tanzania and has lived and travelled extensively overseas. This lifestyle has greatly influenced and shaped her style of working and being in the world. She completed her Masters in Gestalt Therapy at Gestalt Therapy Brisbane where she has been on faculty since 2018.

Rosemary recently developed and taught clinical communications skills programs in Taiwan. This work continues in the form of group supervision via Zoom. She has worked with communities decimated by HIV/AIDS in Tanzania and currently works with local NGO’s in Nigeria to develop and facilitate programs to assist women recovering from human trafficking.

Rosemary now lives in Maleny and has a great passion for working with culturally diverse groups and with groups engaged in creating social change.  She facilitates for EPICC and Dice, exploring life issues and relational themes with individuals who are non-verbal (and utilize Facilitated Communication) and have special needs. Rosemary has been part of the EPICC community for several years.

Kester Chalkley

My name is Kester – a stage name. My real name is Christopher Robin. Can you see why I changed it?

Anyway, I have had the great fortune to be a professional performer in dance, music and drama since 1995 when I graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Dance.

I also now have a teaching degree from Central Queensland University which has complemented my teaching of the performing arts.

I began teaching back in 2000 and have been to many Indigenous communities, rural and Outback communities as well as mining towns and mainstream areas throughout the whole East Coast of Australia.

I released an album last year which is available to listen to on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes etc if you want to check out my original material.

I look forward to being a part of the EPICC group .
